Velvet Genetics
At the heart of our breeding philosophy is a commitment to maintaining the purity of our bloodlines. All Peel Forest Estate studs carry the genetic heritage of deer from one of two famous English Parks – Warnham Park and Woburn Abbey – with some carrying a combination of the two.
Careful cultivation of the Warnham and Woburn pure source bloodlines enables us to offer hinds and stags with a high degree of heritability, providing stud and commercial farmers the flexibility to make their own outcross decisions.
